The Covid19 pandemic has thrown up new challenges across the workplace. Mint Commercial & Health Care Limited & its technology partner HSP, have risen to the challenge of ensuring a safe working environment for our blue-chip customers.

Mint CEO, Debbie McAulay commented, ”As essential service providers, our clients have continued to trade during the pandemic and we’ve worked closely with them to ensure that their employees have been safe at work.”

“Mint’s blue-chip clients wanted to raise the standards of cleanliness to look after their employees and our challenge was to support them in this task. That’s where our partnership with HSP came into its own.”

Taking up the story is Steve Lamb, HSP’s Technology Director:

“We were asked to ensure that Mint could demonstrate that they’d given extra special attention to service areas that were at high risk of spreading Covid19. We’d already been working on a Covid19 function to ensure system users were safe to go onto site and our technology team came up with the idea of expanding our barcode scans to provide hourly updates to confirm that toilets, kitchens and selected pinch-points had been cleaned.”

“The result has been more than 700 barcode scans per day, equating to more than 125,000 barcodeto date and that figure is climbing every day. The system also produces an hourly building by building report that confirms that each site is safe to trade.”
