ABOUT US

After working in the world of contract cleaning for 40 years plus between us, my late husband and I decided to launch MINT in 2010, we both had a passion for the industry and knew that we could provide an excellent service with a personal touch. Our first contract was a bar in Wilmslow and we both put our experience and expertise into making it a success, through word of mouth we were soon cleaning 30 bars nationally for the same group. I’m sure our daughter will recall being bundled into the back of the car with a duvet and pillows as we headed south to resolve an issue; which obviously didn’t deter her as she studied business and became an integral part of MINT overseeing quality, health and safety, environmental and MHE bringing with her a youthful insight and a fresh approach to cleaning.
 

The early mornings, late starts and back-to-back cleans were all part and parcel of the early days of MINT, its fair to say we loved every minute of it! As our clients moved to different industry sectors so did MINT, which is where our journey really began. Enjoying excellent relationships with new and existing clients, as their business grew so did ours, through successful tender processes we began to clean and facilitate Luxury Office Buildings, Warehouse and Fulfilment, Education, NHS, Private Health Care, Bars and restaurants, Photography Studios, Spa’s, Gyms’, Cinemas, Hotels, Construction Sites, Void cleaning, Hostels, Housing Association and  Communal Areas. Throughout the pandemic we provided preventative Covid-19 cleans ensuring continuity of service for all clients.
